One should not choose the one with the highest resolution , as it makes not much difference in routine work. Screen size is one of the most important aspect , as far as the computer monitors are concerned. If there is a space constraint , 14 or 15 inch is more suitable. However, any screen size up to 22 inch is desirable . 17 inch and 19 inch have been the all time favourite sizes for monitors among all types of users. HD or Non – HD

That means, most of the monitors come with HD display. However, the screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 is considered as Full HD or True HD , as there are 1080 pixels in the height.
Hardware like graphic card – video card play very important role in the display quality . If there is a graphic card (preferably dedicated) of 1 GB or more, you should consider buying a True HD LED for the best viewing experience. For graphic cards less than 1 GB , you can go for any type of display screen.
