Apple iPad Mini and iPad 4 : 4th Gen iPad launched in India

Apple has finally released its flagship devices – iPad Mini and 4th Generation iPad iPad 4 with Retina Display in India. As compared to the other devices , Apple has launched this set of devices comparatively very early. Looking at this move , it seems that they have started considering India as a strategically important market .

The iPad Mini and iPad 4 are available in various online shopping portals. On stores , the devices will be available in 2-3 weeks at least. Let us have a look at the pricing structure of these devices.

Apple iPad Mini – the smaller version of iPad has got 7.9 inch LED multi-touch display with 1024 x 768 pixels screen resolution. At this screen size and resolution , it makes a pixel density of 160 PPI , which may be good for some people , but , it is nowhere comparable to the display of iPad 4 with retina display. There is A5 Dual Core ARM Cortex-9 processor and 512 MB of RAM. For graphic performance , there is PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU . There is 5 megapixel primary camera along with Autofocus . Apple iPad 4 : 4th Generation iPad with Retina Display

It has got 9.7 inch diagonal Retina display with IPS LED Display. The screen resolution here is 2048 x 1536 pixels , which makes a pixel density around 264 PPI . It is supported with A6X dual core processor with quad core graphics , for the possibly best graphical performance. There is 5 megapixel primary iSight camera with Auto focus and a capability of capturing 1080p full HD Display. In addition to this , iPad 4 has 1.2 megapixel front facing secondary camera (for video calling over Wi Fi or LTE) with 720p video recording.
